Gold & Silversmithing Undergrads
RMIT Gold & Silversmithing Students Association is an academic club for RMIT Undergraduate Fine Arts Students majoring in gold and silversmithing "object based practice" (and their friends).
The G&S SA aims to promote our industry and contribute to public education around it. We aim to keep gold and silversmithing relevant and interesting and to cultivate and support passionate student makers and appreciators of contemporary jewellery. The Association promotes, fundraises and organises events related to our practise while at RMIT with a huge focus on organising (and funding) an annual exhibition for our graduating members.
Membership is open to all students but please note the club does not teach gold and silversmithing.
Please note that only RMIT Fine Arts students in the undergrad G&S stream are eligible to be elected to the club leadership team. To contact the club, please email GS.club@rmit.edu.au
2024 annual membership is now close while we prepare for our Annual General Meeting and election of our 2025 leadership team. We'll announce the opening of 2025 annual memberships through our social media or just recheck the RUSU website. Thanks for a great year!
