Chill N Grill

Chill out from studying and enjoy RUSU's amazing free weekly lunches, where you can grab a sausage in bread or a vegan burger and hang out with your RUSU crew, while we keep the beats going all afternoon.

Welfare on Wheels

During assessment time, RUSU and Compass will be coming by the library to help you study. We'll be wheeling in drinks and snacks to keep you going plus de-stress tips and support information.

    Compass Cupboard

    The Compass Drop-in Centre is here to support students by offering advice, information and referrals regarding a wide range of psychosocial issues. We also provide a food bank for students in need. Drop by Compass to find out more. The Compass Cupboard is proudly supported by AIRMASTER.

    You do not have to go hungry. There are plenty of resources available to you throughout the community that give you access to free food. You may also have community gardens and other food initiatives within your local area that you can access free of charge.

    RMIT Welfare Support

    Food vouchers and cash grants are available to students who are experiencing financial crisis. Being in financial crisis usually means that you have less than $1,000 in the bank and that you are not able to pay for your basic living costs (rent, food, bills). If you need financial support information, please speak with an RMIT welfare advisor.

    Realfoods Affordable Meals

    Realfoods offer budget-friendly lunches on Mondays and Tuesdays, with a $6 meal on Mondays and a delicious $6 toastie on Tuesdays.
