Description

The RMIT Photonics Society (formerly the University OSA Student Chapter) is affiliated to the Optical Society of America (OSA).
The majority of our members are PHD students.
Our main aim is to bring together students who are interested in the field of optics.
This is done through workshops, social events, seminars and outreach programs among other activities.
We aim to provide students with an opportunity to understand and gain insight into the field of optics and its' applications.

Membership of the Society is free.
Members must re-join every year so please use the "Join or Renew" button to the right to sign up for 2022.
If you don't have an account in the RUSU website system, it will ask you to set up an account before you can go through to the Photonics membership form.
This is not the same as joining RUSU (which we recommend!).
To join RUSU, use the "JOIN NOW" button at the top of the page
