RMIT Vegan Club respectfully acknowledges the peoples of the Wurundjeri language group as Traditional Owners of the land on which we meet both virtual and in person. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders as the first people of Australia. Sovereignty was never ceded and treaties were never signed and the First Nation peoples remain strong in their connection to country and culture. We and those participating in our events reside on Kulin nation land and sometimes beyond. We acknowledge the constant resistance and resilience of First Nations people against ongoing colonisation.
