RMIT Biosciences Society offers support and professional development for students studying biological and life science disciplines. The club also endeavours to connect students to the industry through professional networking, workshops and social events.
Our Society
The RMIT Biosciences Society was formed to offer support and professional development for students across all areas of biological and life sciences studying at RMIT. As students and young professionals, we know how challenging it can be for students to engage on a deeper level with their university and face the world of employment following completion of their studies. We have provided this support through key events whilst building a community for the students to engage with each other at social events and online.
Our strategic plans are mainly focused on building networks in bioscience related industries.
However, we strive to maintain a diversity of members from various expertise to holistically sustain the organisation.
In particular, we are interested in recruiting more members from IT, Marketing and Design Backgrounds for work experience opportunities within the club.
We welcome anyone within the RMIT community with a keen interest in biosciences to join.
