BERSS Student Opportunities
We are currently looking for students to join our team!!
The 2023 BERSS team shares a drive for spreading awareness of our field, and creating opportunities for students both in and out of our specific discipline. This is done through regular workshops where they can meet and obtain advice from professionals who have become very successful in their field, and by also bolstering student connections throughout RMIT and Victoria through a variety of fun social events.
To bring these ideas to life, we have a wide mix of passionate and enthusiastic students who share the drive to see these sorts of events happen and contribute ideas for new and improved ones every year. Our club is oriented towards biomedical applications for engineering, but we are a multidisciplinary group and are accepting of all types of student backgrounds. We are looking for more students to join us everyday, and have a number of positions available listed below.
These are fantastic ways as a student to develop leadership and teamwork skills which are invaluable in the workplace, and will carry throughout your career and life. They are also excellent ways to meet and network with like-minded students and staff all around RMIT University, and making friends throughout your university journey. If interested in joining our team, contact us via email at berss@rmit.edu.au to set up a meeting with our executive committee and discuss what the right role might be for you!
