RUSU elections are held annually to empower students to select their representatives, ensuring that their voices are heard within the university. These elections provide a democratic platform for students to choose leaders who will advocate for their needs and concerns. Typically occurring in the middle of the academic year, RUSU elections foster student engagement and participation, reinforcing the importance of student representation in decision-making processes at RMIT. Through these elections, RUSU promotes a vibrant student community while encouraging individuals to take on leadership roles and contribute to shaping the university experience.
