RMITV is RMIT University’s student-run television production house. RMITV produces content for both online and broadcast platforms. The majority of content is broadcast on C31 Melbourne and Geelong (digital 44).
RMITV provides hands-on television experience to RMIT students and members of the local community. Many ex-members have gone on to paid employment in the TV and AV industries.
Interested students and community members can run for election to the board of directors of Student Community Television Inc. at the Annual General Meeting. Keep an eye on the newsfeed for when and where this happens each year!
Crewing on an RMITV production will give you invaluable skills and experience, so go on and get involved!
It’s your very own student magazine and we’d love for you to be on our team! Catalyst is always on the hunt for new talent, including creative writers, photographers, journalists, artists, radio producers, filmmakers, advertising wiz’s, designers, cat gif experts and heaps more.
Catalyst is RMIT’s student magazine since 1944. This year’s going to be big for Catalyst with the continuation of our podcast Cataclysm, producing video content with RMITV, our dedication to creating an amazing print magazine and a whole bunch of brand spanking new content in the works.
We write news about RMIT, Melbourne and Victoria. But we also like to explore everything in between, the dark, the weird, the sensual; it’s all good when it comes to Catalyst. We’re always looking for new ways to tell a story, we want to help you be the next big thing.
